Accessibility
PageOut® strives to make online course delivery
accessible to the widest possible audience. Students with audio, visual, and/or learning disabilities often use
special tools which require web content to be displayed in particular formats. To help meet that need,
PageOut® provides an instructor enabled "accessible" mode for special needs students (activated on a course by course basis).
The standards of accessibility are continually being refined and redefined across the many governing organizations.
To maintain pace with that change, the PageOut® team continually reviews the latest industry standards
(ex: Section 508, W3C WAI,
etc..) to help keep "accessible" PageOut® content available for students with special needs.
